ABOUT DR. KAPOOR
Dr. Rohan Kapoor is a native of Georgia and grew up in Gwinnett County. He attended the University of Georgia, where he graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Microbiology, and went on to earn his Doctorate of Optometry with honors from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry.
After optometry school, Dr. Kapoor moved back to Atlanta to complete his Ocular Disease and Refractive Surgery Residency and Board Certification.
After completing residency, Dr. Kapoor worked for a number of years in various practice settings as a clinical optometrist in the Gwinnett area, allowing him to refine his high-level optometric skill set. He joined RLK Eye Associates in early 2022 and has been providing high-quality eye care to the greater metro Atlanta community since.
Away from the clinic, Dr. Kapoor is fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi, and has studied Spanish for numerous years. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, tennis, weight training, and spending quality time with his wife and two children — and he’s a big fan of University of Georgia football.
